Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has expressed his disappointment over Ukraine's Shevchenko not playing in this match as the striker has some issues to deal with.

Shevchenko was a legend in Milan for scoring tons of goals in his 7 years tenure and Prandelli is a big fan of him.

"It is a disappointment to not meet him during the match," the tactician said to Tuttomercatoweb. "He is a champion in Italy and has always had a strong connection with the country."

Shevchenko was a star for Milan mounting 127 goals for the years he stayed and played there before he made his move to Chelsea.
