Real Madrid Sporting Director Jorge Valdano has echoed the thoughts of everyone at the club when he says they are still optimistic about their second leg clash semifinal against Barcelona at Camp Nou on Wednesday.
The los blancos will have to overcome a two goal deficit suffered at home to nurture any hopes but Valdano is still optimistic.
Speaking to the club's official website, Valdano has stated, "Madridistas always believe in comebacks. If there was just one team that has the habit of being heroic, it would be Real Madrid."
"Nothing should deprive us of feeling hope and excitement for Tuesday's match at Camp Nou."
